Beyer Blinder Belle
Princeton, New Jersey, USA
To create a comprehensive plan for growth and development, Princeton University hired Beyer Blinder Belle, the acclaimed firm of architects and planners. As the multi-disciplinary design team's wayfinding consultant, Two Twelve undertook an analysis of the University's need for signage to better guide visitors and residents through and around the evolving centuries old campus. The first portion of our work included the campus wayfinding analysis, a website for the campus plan team and design and editorial consulting for the 180 page Campus Plan report. Following on from our planning and documentation efforts, we undertook the design of the actual campus wayfinding system, including vehicular and pedestrian directionals, building identification signs, a gorgeous new campus visitor map and special consulting for campus precincts that are changing as a result of the plan.
