Ward Village
Since 2015, Two Twelve has worked with The Howard Hughes Corporation to develop wayfinding and signage for Waiea, Anaha, Ae‘o, ‘A‘ali‘i and Ke Kilohana, five new, mixed-use towers that make up Honolulu’s award-winning Ward Village. Two Twelve looked to local culture to inspire form and materials.
We developed designs that are distinct to each tower yet mindful of the overall intention of Ward Village. In addition to a comprehensive wayfinding and signage system for each building, Two Twelve assisted with parking and retail tenant signage design to ensure a cohesive community experience for this new neighborhood.
Two Twelve’s work at Ward Village exemplifies our commitment to nuanced, place-based design that combines the highest standard of wayfinding with an aesthetic sensibility aligned with the architecture and attuned to the cultural context.
