Disneyland Resort Parking Garage
Disneyland Resort Anaheim needed a wayfinding system and signage for its 10,000-car garage, by far the largest parking facility in the United States at that time. With six floors in all, it would be easy for visitors to get lost. In response, Two Twelve developed a visual theme of Mickey and Friends to help visitors remember their first and last Disney experience each day. To keep costs down, we used an innovative resin material embedded with graphics that could wrap the garage building’s structural columns and yet be tough enough to resist vandalism. The program was extremely well received and has stood the test of time and remains intact since its 2001 debut.
