Meet Our Associate Creative Directors, Sharmi Patel and Ben Whitehouse
With the New Year comes new opportunities for growth, and it is in this spirit that Two Twelve is thrilled to announce the evolution of our teams through two key steps – the promotion of Senior Designer Sharmi Patel, and the addition of Ben Whitehouse to our diverse and enterprising staff.
Ben comes to us from Whitehouse & Company with a wealth of experience in graphic design, including branding, print, environmental graphic design, and new media. His skills as a designer are matched by his ability to lead and manage a project effectively. Working in his role as Associate Creative Director on Creative Director Jonathan Posnett’s team, Ben will be adding his unique perspective to projects such as the University of Connecticut, Newark Airport, and Alexander Court, a trophy-class office building in the heart of Washington, D.C.
Sharmi Patel, in her previous role as a Senior Designer on Creative Director Anna Sharp’s team, immersed herself in a variety of complex projects, ranging from major healthcare institutions like The Queen’s Medical Center in Hawai‘i to urban wayfinding projects like The City of Provo, Utah. Her depth of experience and dedication to client needs allow her to easily step into her new role as Associate Creative Director and continue her tremendous efforts at Two Twelve.
The Associate Creative Director role will create a powerful new dynamic that allows our teams to adapt to the needs of any given project and provide our clients with expert attention on a variety of fronts. “We are expanding our reach and our capabilities in order to better serve our clients,” says Principal Ann Harakawa. “Sharmi and Ben are able to provide leadership and manage projects efficiently while using their particular skill sets to find the hidden logic of any space.”
