Atlanta Federal Center
At 24 million square feet, the Atlanta Federal Center presented a substantial wayfinding challenge. Architects Kohn Pedersen Fox invited Two Twelve to design a comprehensive signage program for a federal government office complex that consisted of a 24-story high-rise, a smaller low-rise building, and a national historic landmark. In the new buildings, stainless steel was used for signage to complement the sleek modern interiors. In the restored Rich's department store, bronze accents paid homage to the more classical elements of the space.Government, Wayfinding
