The Post-Sandy Initiative
Two Twelve joined several other New York-based architecture and planning firms to form The Post-Sandy Initiative. The goal of the Initiative was to share expertise and practical knowledge in the way of Superstorm Sandy. Two Twelve worked to develop visual interest in a printed report that communicated the proposals of the architectural community directly to New York's policymakers. The storm surge map, one of the most powerful graphical elements in the report, was a composite created from a map provided by FEMA and maps that Two Twelve drew for other efforts.
